今井恵の作品はシルクスクリーンで制作されていて、刷る際に加えられるメディウム、水分、そして研究された刷り加減によって、緊張感と偶発性を同居させている。作品には洗練された作家の美意識が強く反映され、鑑賞するたびに新しい発見がある。
 
「almost a month」​
​2020年4月7日から5月6日の約一ヶ月間、COVID-19による緊急事態宣言発令下のあいだ、東京のアパートメントに籠り、同じ版と材料を用いて毎日1作品を制作している。

Gallery Commentary
IMAI Kei's artworks are created using a silkscreen, and the medium, moisture, and the studied power adjustment of printing used during the printing process show us a combination of tension and accidentality. The artworks strongly reflect the artist's refined aesthetic sense and there is something new to discover each time.
 
"almost a month"
From April 7th to May 6th, 2020, while the state of emergency declared by COVID-19 was in effect, the artist holed up in an apartment in Tokyo and created one work every day using the same screen frame and materials.

This artwork will be shipped after the IMAI Kei's solo exhibition "Almost a month" (end on June 8th, 2021).
