ギャラリーそうめい堂では、古原汐理の個展「祈りの物語」を開催いたします。
岩手県の伝承を祖父母から伝え聞いていた古原は、その不可思議で、魅力的で、そして時に悲しい歴史を伝えていた伝承を基に、作品を制作しています。
作品に込められた古原の祈りを作品から紐解いて頂ければ幸いです。

Gallery Soumeido is pleased to present a solo exhibition by KOHARA Shiori, "Story of Prayer".
Kohara, whose grandparents passed down the folklore of Iwate Prefecture to her, creates works based on this mysterious, fascinating, and sometimes sad history.
We hope that you will be able to unravel the prayers she has put into her works.
